Hang a rug on the wall with Item # H-717 fluer de lis hook.

I used a curtain ring and  attached it to the  rug

and slipped it over the fluer de lis hook. I always loved the looks of the leather rugs but I didn't like to walk on them. So now it's on my wall.

This is just an amazing table.

 Made from 2 old raised panel doors.  Glass was used over the doors to make the table top. 

The legs were made from 4 old porch posts.

Closet doors have been removed. What a nice focal point!

Display an assortment of plates on the wall around a Bakers rack.

Dress up a standard candle with a curtain tie back pinned to the candle.

The Story behind the paper

It's a  new Wall Paper called Paper Illusion.  It's a special paper that has a prepasted glue that sticks to paper.  So what you do is tear the roll in pieces and use the straight edge sides of the roll to use along the ceiling and baseboards and the middle of  roll you use to fill in the rest. 

It looks  like a stone wall when  you are done.  It's VERY easy but Very time consuming to put up and it would go a lot faster if you had a helper to hand you the paper while you are on the ladder. There's  a lot of on and off the ladder.

But it's great for the budget decorator!!

As you get a great look, no wasted paper and you can hang it yourself with little experience.

Fish net swags and mini shell lights with lobster tiebacks were used to dress up an enclosed porch in Maine.

Wall grouping of old photos with a simple black frame and white matting.  A really nice touch.

   Hanging a Tapestry

Three sided fireplace can be seen from the kitchen, dining room and the family room.  Very nice touch!!

   Decorating above the kitchen cabinets for interest and drama.

Use baskets and greenery for eye popping appeal.  Plate hangers were used to show off the interesting plates.

Press fern or leaves between two pieces of glass and frame it.  Very Pretty!!
